Just a reminder that you are welcome to join the Verulam Morse practice net on Sunday evenings, details as below.

Linda G7RJL
GB2CW Morse Training: The club participates in the GB2CW Morse Training on Sunday evenings starting at 20.00 on 145.250 MHz FM.

Morse Improvers CW Net: Following the GB2CW session join us on Sundays at 20.30 local time for the CW Improvers net, which can be found on 2m running CW on 144.062.
We are more than happy to adjust our speed so that it suits you, so don’t hesitate to call in even if it does sound too fast. The net is run in a friendly laid back fashion and takes the form of general chat. We are all very accepting of mistakes (we make enough of them ourselves!) so don’t hesitate to join in – it’s the only way to improve!

I received an email from Peter G0OIK this morning. He has advised us that he has uploaded recordings of Bob's GB3CW transmissions and the St Albans Sunday evening CW Improvers net sessions on his Website at ... ?q=node/33

I am also available for on air CW practice by arrangement. HF, 6m and 2m

Many thanks Graham. Hopefully I shall have the antennas installed in January if the weather stays stable. Looking forward to joining in and improving my Morse.

I will look forward to that, Peter, I think Simon M0AAV may like to join us. He is also working on antennas for NVIS on HF and we both have a 2m CW capability.

Last weekend I uploaded a movie of a CW QSO with a full text transcript. I used a straight key so the speed is held down to about 13wpm with faster characters. If this is of interest to anyone, I will post some more.
