CW Training Support

CW has been my primary mode of operation for many years and I would like to offer my help and support to Club members who wish to learn Morse code. It will require a significant time commitment and it is addictive - it's also great fun!

Computer aided training using the Farnsworth or Koch methods is to be recommended for fastest progress, together with GB2CW and W1AW code practice transmissions.

I can offer tips and advice as required and will be happy to arrange on air QSOs when the time comes.

Thank you Graham. Please count me in as I need to recover my ability as I'm planning to return to the hf bands again soon and in particular 40m CW.

I need all the help that I can find !

Last Friday, Mike, M0ITI mentioned that he would like to establish a CW net on 2m. I have had a few QSOs on 144.062 in recent months and will be happy to arrange skeds if anyone is interested.

Meanwhile, improvers may be interested in a couple of 80m straight key QSOs that I have uploaded to Youtube. They have a full on screen transcript, the latest one at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbkCFTbLQ38 was uploaded this evening.

Cheers,
Graham G4VUX
